Past Projects Boiler Rebuild
This project
involved rebuilding a 25,000 PPH CE boiler that had been idle for many
years.
The drums were the only major parts that could be salvaged and the rebuild needed to be accomplished off-site. All tubes, refractory, insulation and casings were replaced and a new Coen gas/oil burner was installed. Installation of the rebuilt boiler included repairing the stack, installing a new economizer, and piping with associated valves for gas, oil, steam, and feedwater systems. We also provided a new panel with combustion control, feedwater control and chart recorder.
